Hi all,
We are in the process of opting out from several vision insurance contracted labs and using our own lab of choice. Comparing the chargebacks from insurance claims vs. lens costs from local labs; we decided to make the change hoping to increase our profits in the long run.
So far, Eyemed is "good to go". However, we are having issues with submitting claims for glasses on their online portal. We called the support line for help but one of the lady stated that claims has to be submitted via fax or hard copy. Our doctor is part of the facebook Dr group, & some claimed that they are able to still submit claims online through the eyemed portal after opting out.
If anybody here have any experiences with opting out labs, Can I ask for any advices or tips that you may have?
We are based in Arizona.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
