As I review Optiboard this morning, it caught my eye that this endeavor has now been a source for the optical community for 29 years! 1995 was the year Steve Machol started this work of love and respect for those who toil in the lab, the dispensers, the ODs, sales reps, and even a few old Educators! Steve, thank you. I think it's time we plan an even in person someplace to do 30 right!

Think about it…The decimation of information, from the 1st printed word, to the internet is how we, as a civilization have advanced so much, as a species in such a short geologic time…
