Jezz, it’s a handful just to police the consumer/advertising post. Now you have to deal with AI cr@p. Sorry Steve..

I am going to revive this thread I started a few months ago. Can anyone chime in with any suggestions for a) frames that generally arrive in standard alignment and retail for less than $500 from a company that is easy for a small office to deal with and b) frames that generally arrive in standard alignment with a well known designer label at any price point?

takiron is very excellent but also many quality models from Mazzucchelli and la. es are also excellent (they make various levels of different quality) for the standard aligment it is not only the acetate quality level that counts but the craftmanship and care... many brands produce quickly as the customer then takes care of fixing them...optician 😆

Takiron has a higher hardness, polishes well, scratches less. Downside, less variety in colors, snaps easier when adjusting unless a thick frame.

Mazzucchelli is softer, adjusts well, easy to work with, comes in a variety of colors. Downside, some of their sheets are fabricated in China, scratches easier and falls out of adjustment easier if not heated properly.

Both great products and top quality just a bit different make up and handling. Neither can replace the other IMO.

Thank you Elvis, Harry, and Dima for your feedback. I will try one more time and hope somebody can answer this question.
