But, because our property is now under contract, if everything goes as planned, we will become officially homeless on December 2nd, at which point we will return to the east coast to start looking for homes. And Northampton, Massachusetts is fairly high on my list of locations to live, but it appears like there aren't many ranch-style homes there. Please inform me of whatever you know about Creator Merch Shop.

Well, that's a funny way to get your spam in: "Please inform me of whatever you know about Creator Merch Shop" It seems pretty pointless because there are likely to be just a few people reding this thread.

Good luck. Remember it only takes one. If you have any other questions, feel free to get in touch.

I was born in Hartford and had my senior year of High School at East Windsor High. I have lots of family in the entire Hartford area.

She's right Steve. That's a hell of a big house.

My daughter and niece both live in S. Windsor (we're on the shore). S. Windsor is a very nice, very popular town right now. If memory serves, Coburn bought out the Gerber Scientific property. Granby & Glastonbury also nice, but will be a bit more pricey as a rule.

Politics in CT is liberal or very liberal. Nothing right of that. All five federal reps and both senators are Big D's. Dems have controlled the state capital for a number of years. If that's your leaning, you'll fit right in.

    Welcome to the Nutmeg state.

Thanks Wayne. We've run int troubl trying to sell our house in Arizona but we are planing to put it back on the market in January and try again.

I was born in Hartford and although I've lived in AZ most of my life, I've been back there a few times and even spent my Senior year in High School there (East Windsor HS Class of 1970.) I've always love the area and New England in general.

We have a long set of criteria, including one floor living (we are in our 70s and this is the last house we plan to buy), politics, crime, cost-of-living, easy access to shopping, medical care, etc.

That house is okay, but my wife thinks that caring for 120,000 sq ft might be a bit much.
