    The Zombies

Rod Argent is a monster keyboardist. Just fluid from brain to hands…very rare..

Big Skynard fan though, especially when Steve Gaines joined the group. So, a treat for you- Lynyrd Skynyrd (before Gaines), complete, live BBC TV concert. Commercial videotape at the time probably had about 500 lines. This looks like a very good digital transfer from a 1st generation master tape. Play it loud.

Muddy Waters - Can't Get No Grindin' 1973

Guitars- Hollywood Fats (age19), Bob Margolin, Calvin "Fuzz" Jones
    Drums- Willie 'Big Eyes' Smith
    Keys- Pinetop Perkins
    Mississippi Sax- Mojo Buford(harp)

Margolin's solo gives a nod to the melody- very tasty.

My fav BTO song, Bachman went a little jazzy for a spell, kinda different from their usual hard rockers. Bachman plays great here, my only complaint is him using an LP instead of an ES or similar guitar. His rig isn’t warm sounding. But what do I know… He’s done better than me getting money for playing…( best I usually got was my bar tab..)

John Prine - Hello in There 1978?

A friend in the radio biz in the mid-70's made a cassette mix-tape with many powerful songs that were new to me, including a J. Prine piece that showed me the power of art, that helped me understand the human condition.
