    4T Tracer/ 7EX Edger/ Innovations Help

I have an puzzle here that needs solving

LMS Innovations @ Lab (Standalone - No Internet)

Edger 7EX connects directly to Innovations

4T Tracer @ Lab also connects to innovations

I have 4T Tracer at a remote location connected to a computer with VisionWeb Tracer Software.

What happens here is the 4T @ Remote Location traces the frames and pumps out an OMA file.

A courier copies the traced files onto a flash drive daily, and brings it to my Lab.

At the lab, i drag and crop OMA files into Innovations "Ticket" Folder, where the other traces are stored when I trace from my lab.

The issue is that I cannot seem to get Innovations to read the OMA files being produced by the remote locatons.

I noticed inside the "Tickets" Folder for innovations, everything is save as an XML format.

My goal is to either convert OMA to the needed XML format. OR, get innovations to read OMA.

    Please help!

What you have described, sir, sounds very user unfriendly, is a huge time waster, and creates too many opportunities for errors, which the lab always ends up eating.

We have available a super solution whereby the 4T tracer at the Remote Location simply traces the frame, enters the patient name and some of the Rx, and presses "Send" => Done!

At the lab, the Rx and the traced frame shape magically appears in seconds after being sent over the internet, then you block and edge the job => Done!

What you have described above is much to manual, complicated, messy, and takes about 10 times longer.

Please PM or email me so I can provide more details, and then have you try this simple, fast, and easy solution for free.

Curious as to what optical industry "OMA to XML file converter" you are aware - the online search we performed turned up nothing fruitful.

Would you please share links to the OMA to XML file conversion tools you've found?

To resolve the issue, you can try contacting LMS Innovations for support, as they may be able to provide assistance with integrating the 4T Tracer at the remote location with Innovations. Alternatively, you can try converting the OMA files to XML format using software or programming tools, or manually input the data from the OMA files into Innovations
