  • FEA Features on Manufacturing Marvels

FEA Industries has been features on "Manufacturing Marvels", as seen on the Fox Business News channel. Air date was yesterday (1/5/2016), and the segment can be viewed below as well. I think this does well to illustrate the level of machinery that's actually involved in the entire lens surfacing process, and should hopefully help to give people an idea of what really goes on.

Personally, I wouldn't use *any* autolensometer for layout/blocking purposes. Might get more insight if you can provide make/model of the new auto unit for others who may use the same?

I'm not sure the duration of effect on a tear film, though. It would probably be neutralized before any significant antiseptic effect.
