carlos83eye will become famous soon enough
Hoya EX3

Anybody having any success with this product?

Is it REALLY better scratch resistant than glass?

Avance isn't even THAT good, so this means EX#'s better?

Comments? Tips? Rants?.......Fez?

According to our Hoya rep, the new coating produced some insane numbers on the Bayer abrasion test. Well beyond that Beyonce coating.

IME, the original Super HIVision performs better than Avance. I am not familiar with the Forte that For Life mentioned. It's odd how Essilor comes out with a new and improved AR coating each year. I wonder if they rebrand them like they do to their PAL designs?

I bet it is better than RF99 too. FYI - Essilor is now using Forte. Let's compare apples to apples

Just like Pal's! In order to charge more, a new name must be applied. Lens manufacturers and coating companies better start getting it through their heads-- We need prices to go DOWN! Not up. Come on, the processes have been around long enough for them to start costing us less. The price of A/R is getting ridiculous!
