Many Optiboarders have expressed positive opinions of this lens. I have worn it and it is equivalent to the Physio. I prefer the Zeiss GT2 for work because it is superior for computer work and near. All of these are a wow improvement of previous lenses such as Gradal top , Comfort and Panamic.

I find the Unique to a superior lens to all of the other Freeforms out there. No returns!! I have been fitting it for as long as they have been out and average about 5 pairs a week.

I am awaiting a frame to try it. Kind of excited to tell you the truth.

I wear an Individual now, and WOW.

The Unique is Fantastic

Be careful with the Unique with higher plus powers, Steve Drake at Signet told me above +2.50 not to use the Unique. It's a spherical single vision lens blank (that's the reason for the phenomenal availability of materials) and the higher base curves have not worked well. Steve recommended using the Kodak Precise for higher plus prescriptions. I tried both lense with my +2.75 -1.50 X90 RX and both worked well for me, but I love the Precise more than any other PAL. It works really well for me. I even tried the Zeiss Individual recently and couldn't tell much difference from the Precise. The Unique was the closest to a single vision experience I have ever had though. Highly recommended, and Signatek (their lab) gives great service. The last time I checked, uncuts were only available to full service (surface/bench) labs, not to small finish labs.
