Vantage release date was May 1st. Most Labs will be releasing it in June/July that way they can be properly educated on it. Unfortunately Tranistions website does not reflect this...
Ordered two pairs today. One SV poly grey, One phoenix progressive trans grey. Brown is said to be avail later on. Pricing: I'm a no-know.

Excel has SV semi-finished blanks in CR-39 available today...
Sounds like Zeiss is behind he power curve....
Luzerne is processing as well.
Also, all the manufactures are playing chicken... no one wants to release pricing until they see what the competition is doing. So real availability may not happen for a few days until the pricing issue works itself out.

No problem Mick, when in doubt, just check the posting guidelines. Optiboard does have a private forum called eyecare professionals only. This forum can be used for that purpose. It is available to subscribed members only for a modest fee. Optiboard has always been a "free" site for anyone who wanted to join. However there are costs associated with maintaining the site and we use the funding from subscriptions to offset these costs. We have many members who are not eye care professionals, and they cannot use the "Pro's" forum for obvious reasons. If you are a regular visitor here I encourage you to try a subscription, the fee at every level is affordable and you won't be disappointed because with what you can learn in the Pro forum will easily return your investment. Keep on posting but check the guidelines first.

We have been getting them from Three Rivers Optical for the last month. Available in Autograph and their See More Value digital.

Not surprisingly, it takes a while for an entire industry's pipeline to fill up with a new line of products. I can verify that the HOYA Distribution Center in the US does have Phoenix Vantage lenses on the shelf ready to ship in several designs. However, some labs are being cautious in ordering their own inventory, so Vantage is just beginning to move through the pipeline from Distribution Centers all the way to ECP's.

I would like to try these, but of course the place where I work has no plans to offer these lenses. :(
Thanks, I'm going to offer them if my customers can afford them and they turn out to be a viable product.
My lab got permission to start doing them May 1st. Haven't fully released them yet. We're going to have a teaching meeting about it this afternoon, and hosting a seminar in June for our accounts learning benefit also. Got some demos in, and I'm not gonna lie I actually got pretty excited for them.
Christmas for an opti-nerd, I guess.

VSP approved yet?
My notes say VSP code B Code twice, once for photochromic and once for polarized.
