OK, call me stupid, but it's been so long, I can't remember this...we have a new auto lensometer (Alcon) in our office and I am cutting a SV job with 2 diopters of base down prism in the OD and 2 base UP in the OS. I laid out the lenses with the correct amount of prism in the correct direction (it has a digital read-out) and marked them up.l I then blocked them and edged them, and put them back into the lensometer to check them. My question: Where should the O.C. location be on these lenses? The OD is right at the 180 line, and reads 2 base down...and the OS on the 180 line reads NO prism, and if I line it up so the lens is reading 2 diopters base up, as specified, the O.C. dot in way down at the bottom of the lens. Is any of this making sense? Thanks for your help!:hammer:
