Hi, all.
What base curve level (for opthalmic lenses) produces a nice, slight "wraparound" look without looking too futuristic or distorting one's optics? Is an increase or decrease of "1" subtle or quite noticeable cosmetically?
Thank you.

what is the rx?
frames are beta-titanium. would slightly more curve look more attractive?
Do you have a reading rx? If it's just -.75 sph O.U. you can go pretty darn steep as far as base curves are concerned.
A good base to go with would be 7 to 8 base to give you a good wrap around look. Just make sure they don't use aspheric lenses because that would kinda defeat the purpose. I wouldn't go any steeper or you start to sacrifice vision.

*Dave at OptiVision has a web based tracer integration package that's awesome.
Also, why would it not be appropriate to use an aspheric lens with this?
Thank you.
