Muscle surgery may work for a while.
any reason why this hasn't been brought up? Even if you split the the prism there is gonna be a thick edge. The power is almost 0 on the 180.

If the vision is much worse in the left eye by spliting the prism you create a wors optics in the right (better eye). If thats the case patient is going to be much much better with as much prism as possible in the worst eye!

Question is, do they have 20mm thick blanks? Rolling this edge would be a good thing.
My late neighbor had a similar stroke ten years ago. His right eye turned in and we started him at 6D prism, ground in. When it got to 15D, we started with the press on prisms until we maxxed out at 40D, still not enough. No doctor here could help, so he went to Ohio State and had successful surgery, which only lasted for a couple of years until the prism crept back in.
