I think he should go on the Shark Tank with such a lucrative patient. I'd love to see Mr. Wonderful take him out behind the woodshed.
He seems to have sellers regret after he gets his money from other sales
I have just retained a lawyer and will register a patient for Fur glasses! should be great as most of the US and Canada is heading into the deep freeze!!!!
should I include attached ear muffs?
Design patent...mostly worthless. It's essentially a copyright, nothing more. Certainly not worth $900,000.00. Maybe $9.00.
Guaranteed that someone in China will infringe on it immediately (if it hasn't been done already). And sell knock-offs for $4.98.
damn it, how do i retract my bid.

I'm guessing he wants a claim on anyone who puts snake skin on eyewear.
Good luck selling that in Asia.
Given all the stuff you have to go through for lens patents, I'm surprised you can patent this sort of thing for frames. And by this sort of thing, I mean, it's a completely useless patent.
It doesn't actually cover anything.... except maybe putting animal skin on glasses. What a great nature conservationalist. He's patented this to protect the animals for being poached for their skin for eye glasses.
There are rules. Knowing those are easy. There are exceptions to the rules. Knowing those are easy. Knowing when to use them is slightly less easy. There are exceptions to the exceptions. Knowing those is a little more tricky, and know when to use those is even more so. Our industry is FULL of all of the above.
Someone back in the 80's had snakeskin frames. Tura? Robert Claude Entendre? Neostyle? Anyone?
Design patent. Not worth the price of a postage stamp. maybe 900,000 zimbabwe dollars.
Funny though. Thanks for the link!
Rayban did leather covered frames. Silhouette did Leathertouch Chassis 7655. Bucci Glaciers had leather side shields on sunglasses.
Scam< scam< scam,
A design patent covers ornamental design - not any function of any kind.
Basically if someone makes an exact carbon copy of your product it would infringe. If you change the slightest bit any part of the design, such as shape, it is worthless.
This guy has absolutely no protected right to any product except for the exact picture of what he posted.
Very entertaining ebay listing.
I'm putting in for a patent on $100 bills wrapped around frames.
Did you ever hear the one about the mohel who designed a tiny pair of "rare skin" eyeglasses...
Have ya'll seen the "velvet" Ray-Ban's? Yes they are legit, saw them in our rep's bag.

I've seen The Velvet Ray Bans. They look cheap and awful. The rep even said they're a novelty that won't hold up well.
