I've sold three this week. Anyone else seeing an upsurge in requests for round?

Oh, yes.
The long-awaited backlash against rectangular metal frames has finally arrived. We're not selling them at the pace you are, but there's definitely an interest in round frames-- whereas years ago I myself was hard pressed to find a pair anywhere; and even then, it'd only be a pair per store. I've noticed though that of the few round plastics we've gotten into stock, no one's interested in the least; strictly round metals.
Something else on the upswing-- 1950s style plastic/metal combination frames, a'la Malcolm X. Have sold about four-five in the past month, along with patient requests to get a larger variety in stock. Speaking of backlashes, it looks like a response to the solid plastic trend of the past few years; lets people keep the retro/vintage look, but's just a little bit different.
I started wearing a round zyl black frame from Acuity/Freeform Eyewear a couple of years ago and have received many, many compliments on the frame. www.freeformeyewear.com
I haven't got the circle round people yet, but I am noticing that the shallow rectangles are a harder sell than the ones with a deeper B measurement, more of a softer square is what sells for me.
Sold a round just today!
Yes many requests for so called 'Gandhi' style frames.
Wish someone would make some round frames with wide extention on chassis so we could use small thin lenses on high corrections.

As a sales rep I noticed a huge increase in my sales for round styles. Below is the link to my best seller:

I've been seeing a lot of P3's lately from my glass-only customers and not as many narrow rectangles.
We, too are seeing more movement in round frames.
Not much interest in rounds here yet.

Does this combined with the combination craze comeing back mean I can finally unload those these Vogue Firenze ARVA's I got stuck with?

Round frames are famous for 'Gandhi' style frames. But now-a-days very rarely used these round frames. I used that frame last 5-6 yrs ago. so now i don't have any interest to wear again.
I have one customer who wears nothing but round. For the last 5 years I have made rimless, Acuity/Freeform, Europa, and many others. I also am seeing other people wnat round. Smallest has been 39mm so far. I love making different shapes from the norm.
I came, I saw, I left
We don't sell a lot but we have gotten a few. We sell mostly dark plastic frames. For teenagers they all want deep frames in dark plastic.
In the last 6 months I've been charged with buying men's frames here. Was heck bent on getting some rounds and ovals in, for practical, mechanical reasons as much as anything else. Seen too many plus 5 rx's in rectangular frames that could have been so nice... Always found that those people with those extreme rx's looked good in those frames anyway, as if it was God's plan. Got several plastics and a few metals. My recollection is---one oval, no rounds sold to date. Figured there must be a Tucci, a Depp or coffeehouse rocker looking for glasses, but they haven't heard yet.
Usually one or two a week. The aging hippies dig them here; one in clear, and a second for sunglasses.
In my opinion no round frames are in fashion so they are not sold. Nowadays square frames are in demand. Everybody is giving them preference.
