TRANSITIONS OPTICAL SPONSORS CHERRY OPTICAL’S “WHAT’S NEW UNIVERSITY”

PINELLAS PARK, Fla., May 27, 2004 – Nearly 400 eyecare professionals from the state of Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan attended Cherry Optical’s 3rd annual “What’s New University” held at Lambeau Field, Green Bay, Wis. this past April. The event, which has almost doubled since its first year, was created by Cherry Optical to offer its customers one forum to learn about the latest industry offerings.

As part of its ongoing effort to support eye health education, Transitions Optical, Inc. served as major sponsor of the event and joined representatives from 33 other companies from around the world who had displays.

At the Transitions exhibit, Transitions Solutions Team Representatives Christopher Borton (right) and Leslie Pelton (front left) discussed the benefits of Transitions® Lenses for kids with Dr. John Bonsett-Veal of Madison, Wis. Other topics covered at the event included insurance billing, managed care, patient communication techniques and new product updates for both eyeglasses and contact lenses.
