Has anyone heard of Low Vision Aids from a company called "lighthouse"? I think that is the name. What can you tell me about them? And, is there any other companies besides Eschenbach out there ? ? ?

They're an amazing organisation both for the visually handicapped and the practitioner who helps them

Skirk, I just opened an account with them at this place. I have used them for years and they are very reliable. Nothing wrong with Eschenbach, either.

Lighthouse is great for getting low vision aids (and not necessarily just optical). Lighting, 20/20 pens, NoIR glare control glasses, (NoIR has special lens colors for different types of visual impairments), large print check book registers, and the list goes on. Just call them for a catalog and see all they have to offer.
