Have we decided on a time and place? I fly in Friday am and fly out on Sunday am. Perhaps sometime on Saturday afternoon. Is Shamir willing to allow us to meet at their booth?

You are reading my mind! I just logged on thinking that I would post asking about a meeting in NYC. My time at the show/in NYC is limited also. I am flying in Friday and leaving Saturday. A Friday afternoon (3:30ish) or Saturday morning (10:30) meeting would work for me...once again, I'm sure we'll be faced with problems scheduling and having it work for all of us. I am curious to see more responses!

Hey fellow optiboarders!
Relativly new to the forum (since Feb. 9, '04), I have been speaking with a longtime friend about the "Optiboard Meeting Place" I guess that takes place at the show.
There are some faces I would like to put to names, so I too am interested in the meeting place. I will be arriving friday afternoon, about 2:30, and I will be leaving sunday. I am pretty flexible with time.
Hope to meet some of you there.

I've got meetings in the AM, but the afternoon is open on Friday for me.
Saturday will work best for me anytime. Friday I teach AM and late PM. Let me know where.

So far we have established that most of us arriving on friday and leaving on sunday. Saturday seems to be the best fit, but WHERE AND WHEN?
How about lower level 1pm saturday at the cafe? Someone had to make a suggestion. Got one better, pipe up man!

Saturday at the lower level cafe sounds good to me@ 1 PM.
My thought originally was to meet early before things get going , but I don't know how that will work out. Why don't we say the cafe at 1PM and we could do an alternate at 9AM either Sat or Sunday for those who can't make it.
I don't think you can get into the cafe on the lower level at 9, but I think the resturant area on the upper level is open so perhaps we could meet there. Another location is the coffee stand on the lower level but I don't think there's seating there.
Last year I had arranged a room with VCA for coffee and danish, but Live Eyewear came though in the clutch and we didn't need it. I'm sorry I didn't do that this year, but you need a couple of months notice and we're too late. My fault :(

All In favor of 1pm Sat. lower level, say "I". If not, I agree with HC and have an alternate, the restaraunt area is a good thought.
