Do you seek a professional or a stylist....that is degrading to an honorable profession. How would you feel if someone discussed ODs in the same light? While Texase has no requirements to use the title Optician, I assure you there are some well-respected and extremely knowledgeable Opticians who are true professionals in your great state. I hope that Optometrists will one day see the true value a well trained Optician brings to a practice and silly postings like this will go away.
