Job title: US Sales and Marketing Manager
Location: Flexible (East Coast preferred)
Reports to: VP Sales and Marketing
General Description: Responsible for sales and marketing activities of the US
Travel: 60% in the US
Objectives:
1. Responsible to achieve sales objectives within the territories
2. Management of major accounts
3. Introduction of new products to the market
4. Responsible for product definition within the territory (including interface with the R&D department).
5. Responsible for training and technical support within the territory
6. Responsible for marketing activities, identifying key marketing outlets and competitive strategies.
7. Leads and directs the work of others.
8. Expected to create and promote new initiatives.
9. Develop new markets and new opportunities in the US
10. Various reporting to mother company about activities in the US
Qualifications:
1. Anxious to succeed
2. High degree of self-management and independence
3. Five years experience as product/account manager
4. Technical approach
5. Experience with the Medical Devices market (ophthalmic market preferred)
6. Reporting to international company overseas - advantage
