This morning a had an optician call me to set up a new account becaues the Lab she uses is owned by lens company X and the lens she wanted to fit on a patient was made by company Z and they said "NO", they actuall refused to order the lens she wanted.

If more opticians and optometrists would do the same and support the independents in the way of purchasing of lab-work, lenses and frames, the optical world would not be totally owned by 2 or 3 huge corporations in a few years from now.
