    Seasonal Dispensing...

I am seriously considering full time RV-ing.. living summers in the north, and winters in the south, would like to dispense or do vacation relief, or consulting where we settle for a season. would like the new england area, preferably in Connecticut or Mass. in the summer and the San Antonio area in the winter...anyone interested in hiring an old optician seasonally?

Oscar Meyer has a rolling RV wiener, Red Lobster has a rolling lobster advertisement, Dr Scholls has a rolling RV shoe. I don't see why you can't get someone to back you in turning your RV into a rolling pair of eyeglasses.

Kidding aside, you may wish to connect with an organization that provides optical services in third world countries. The pay is squat but you leave knowing you made a difference by enabling someone to see and also have the opportunity to see other parts of the world.

You can put a lab in the RV and sell $29.99 glasses along the way.
If you need i have 2-3 perfect manufacturers for that purpose.

Did PakEv refer to Texas and Conn. as third world countries ?

I've been to Texas and I didn't think it was that bad. In fact, I saw the prettiest girls in the world in San Antonio (of course it was the day I got out of basic training at Lackland AFB, the the best looking one was driving the bus!).

Maybe in the tourist areas of Conn and Mass, the colonial attractions, they get busy in the summer vacation months and could use the seasonal help during the busy tourist season? Same for Texas with the snowbirds in the winter months. I would focus on the tourist areas in the north and the retirement areas in the south.

Guys, the idea was NOT to do buiness out of an RV, it was to live in the RV and be mobile, to live in the north in the summertime, and in the south in the wintertime; would just be interested in "seasonal" work dispensing or doing lab work, in a "normal" optical retail environment....
