[bc]TRANSITIONS OPTICAL ANNOUNCES MICHELE REAGAN MARKETING MANAGER, MAJOR ACCOUNTS, NORTH AMERICA[/bc]
PINELLAS PARK, Fla., Sept. 3, 2003 – Michele Reagan has joined Transitions Optical, Inc. as marketing manager, major accounts, North America. In this newly established role, she will be responsible for the development of programs in the United States and Canada for some of the company’s largest retail accounts, and will work closely with sales directors to extend programs into their respective areas.
Reagan has held a variety of sales and marketing positions with companies including The White Rain Company, a subsidiary of Diamond Products, where she lead marketing initiatives and developed custom marketing programs for top tier accounts including Wal-Mart, Publix and Walgreen’s.
“Michele brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Transitions and has a sound consumer and trade marketing and sales background,” said Frank Reilly, marketing director, North America. “Strategically, this provides additional focus on helping our customers benefit from expanding the photochromic lens category.”
Prior to working with The White Rain Company, Reagan was a media sales assistant for Petry National Television, where she sold advertising spots for network television stations.
She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s of Business degree in marketing from Florida State University. Reagan lives in Tampa, and will work from Transitions Optical’s Pinellas Park, Fla. office.
