[bc]Steve Mackenzie Joins PSI’s Technical Sales Force[/bc]
(August 12, 2003, Odessa, FL) Practical Systems Inc. (PSI) is pleased to announce that Steve Mackenzie will be joining PSI’s Technical Sales force in the Western U.S. Territory. Along with taking on the responsibility of increasing the company’s customer base in his territory, he will be offering his technical expertise in surfacing and finishing to help his customers grow their businesses. Mackenzie will be based in Houston, Texas and will be responsible for the states of California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.

Mackenzie comes to PSI with over 22 years of wholesale optical lab experience. He most recently served as General Manager for CVO-Inc., a wholesale lab in Houston where he restructured production operations and increased operation efficiencies. He implemented highly successful marketing and co-op programs that were mutually beneficial to his customers and the lab. Prior to that Mackenzie was a Technical Support Manager for Essilor of America. But the foundation of his knowledge comes from his 17 years as a Lab Technician in which time he moved through every department of the lab gaining an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the manufacturing process.
