    Genesis by Shamir

    hi,
Has anyone been using the Genesis PAL by Shamir?
What are your experiences with this lens, both good and bad?
I am just learning about this product and it seems to have possibilities as a premium product.
    Thanks

    Hi

I have been using Genesis as my lens of choice for a few years now and have had very few problems. Most problems I have found come from a bad fit or a bad frame choice, if you pay attention to these things patients / customers seem very happy with the product.
Of course, no one lens is good for every customer, but this one seems to fit a majority quite well.
    My 2 cents worth :)

    Al,
Do a search for shamir on this board, there was a really good discussion on this lens not to long ago.

Al, I will answer you from my past position as an optician of 14 years. They are great! My most difficult fit happened to be a relative, +5.50 sphere w/ -6.00 cyl and a 2.50 add. he had tried nearly every every progressive on the market. He absolutly loves the Genesis 1.67. I was so impressed with the Shamir products and thier business philosophy that I went to work for them as an account executive.

    call me al:

If you want, "oblique" or I can provide you with references of ECP's (or labs) that have been using Genesis, Piccolo and Office lens products with wonderful success. In fact, our growth has been so amazing that we now have a lengthy "waiting list" of independent wholesale labs that want to distribute our products.

Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help!
