Is this a game changer to replace Franklin Bifocals???

jefe posted this in the pro's forum and I wonder what others think.

I'm not sure if this is available as a multifocal.

3D printed lenses that provide equivalent optics and properties to trivex(?).

Sounds like a game changer for some specialty prism prescriptions.

The rx that prompted his reply was the need for 4^ out distance and 1^ in near only OU.

Or at least I think I am interpreting that correctly.

It seems that currently only 2 wholesale labs have this.

Calling all you lab guru's, with that voodoo, that you do, so well!!!

It sounds like a different way of surfacing to me. We can surface any type of lens material. We do surface and edge a puck so there is waist material but it is all recycled. I would find a good lab over this.
