  • B&L 70 LENSOMETER how much should I pay?

Someone has offered me a B&L 70 for what he paid in 1979...$1,500. I'm checking it out, reads perfect. What would you all think is a fair price? I'm willing to pay the price offered, but don't want to cheat the man if it's worth more.

Not worth more, I’ve seen them for half that. For that price I would also expect all the prism ring it originally came with.

I agree 100% with my Busch guzzling friend!

That is about 3X what I would pay. I have bought and sold dozens of them over the years. I "MIGHT" be convinced to buy at $750, but it would have to be in super duper shape and have ALL of the prism rings and owners manual!

On a side note...............I'd skip that boat anchor entirely and invest in a sweet sleek Marco 101!

The Marco 101 in no way will ever compare to the Vertometer
