    Pricing?

Hey guys, I need some help.. I am with a Vision Source practice located around Nashville with a mostly rural demographic. We use Essilor and I was hoping someone could critique our pricing.

Probably not kosher to communicate pricing on a public forum.

Why don't you private message someone you like on here for a response?

It's called price fixing, and collusion. Not only not kosher, illegal!

As if me telling some dude who lives in nowheresville tennessee that his progressive price is too high or what other brands to go with is anything even remotely close to price fixing. Take two seconds to even look at the definition of it. So yeah, jesus christ, dude.

Welcome to Optiboard SpecBoss! I see the welcoming committee has already greeted you! Listen, tough skin sometimes on any site. There are very knowledgeable folks here, so hang in there..

I saw your pre-edit post. As far as I know, (correct me Steve) Retail pricing isn’t banned here, wholesale is . To answer your original question on your retail pricing, It depends on a lot of things on where your pricing should be. What do you need your markup to be profitable, what are comparable locations charging for the same product…The list is much longer, and no 2 locations will be identical. Start with your P&L, and also what is locally is the going rate. And this can be tweaked for any specialty, even level of care.

Bottom line is there’s no way to say, “ Is this a fair price?”. Too many variables. Good luck and hang around…

I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it. Mark Twain
