Ordered uncut digital Essilor Progressive lenses in Transitions 8.
Received them and checked them. Getting dark beautifully.
Edged lenses inserted in to Tom Ford clearish grey frame.
Put them in to the uv light and they dont darken as much as uncut.
Puzzled....
Made another pair in black Prada frame and they darken as much as uncut lenses.
Still puzzled...

When you 1st checked them, we’re they placed on a flat surface?
When checked inserted, I’m sure the lenses weren’t flat on a surface. Probably more below lens surface reflectance in either frame, the darker frame just blocks more surface reflection. ( Just my guess).
