Looking to add some more brands.
You might want to add some more specifics to get a useful response. Ideal client, price point, independent vs branded, etc. What sells great in one store will be a flop in another.
Half of our demographic are asians that likes universal fits that are trendy but not too flashy. The other half are more mature folks that wear multifocal designs. Some like lighter frames such as Modo and durable. Price point for frame usually run between 300-600. I appreciate your input since I never really post in forums like this!
If you are looking for asian fit frames, we've done very well with the Ultem and Ultem+ collections from 141 out of Portland OR. Very lightweight frames, most love the comfort of them.
They supposedly have a charitable company as well. For every pair sold, they donate a pair to someone in need. Hence the name 141 (one for one).
I am not as big a fan of the acetate collection as the Ultem though.
We see a lot of Asian clients. I would highly recommend Lindberg for the higher-end and then maybe Eyevan for the mid. All have nosepads and are great quality.
ProDesign is possibly a good fit for your place. Most or all of their plastic frames have the option of nose pads. Interesting styles and generally well made.
