    Capturing posture

What technique do you use when asking a patient/ customer to get into their natural posture?
how do you validate a patients natural posture?

Simply observe their posture when they are seated across from you, engage in off optical conversation to relax them, then go from there.

Just chat with them and see how they hold their head and what their posture is. And when you measure OCs and segs watch if their posture seems stiff or unnatural. I always tell people to relax and hold their head normally. Never hurts to mark the lens and slide back and take a different angle.
