Flexon is:
A. A premium frame line
B. Overrated
Flexon is: A product of an insurance owned company which I refuse to support.
B.
there temples are horrible to adjust.
Wholesale priced like A, but closer to B. I think there are better "memory metal" frames on the market
Also B. The only thing I've had more routine breakage on than spring hinges and old Silhouette temples (they're better now, finally!) is flexons. Routine snapped bridges, and weak solder points.
Elvis, what memory metals do you like? I seriously have never seen one that is constructed any better than a flexon.
I preface this by saying, I'd recommend a block/sheet titanium or block/sheet stainless steel frame over any titanium alloy memory metal frame to patients every time. These type of frames have no weld joints on the frame frame and hold up better long term IMO.
That said, I personally prefer the TitanFlex frames over the Flexon. I don't really like either but I've experienced less breakages with the Titanflex. They dont have quite the elasticity of Flexon but I'd take that trade off for better durability.
B, and I agree with the above.
B for Boringly Overrated.
B --- overrated
OK, I agree, they're overrated.
Next question:
Flexon brand awareness of patients:
a. Flexon brand name virtually synonymous with category (like: Kleenex, Transitions, Clorox)
b. "Flex-wut? Never heard of it."

Memory metal is so "wow effect" then PITA I agree
If Lindberg is Loro Piana, then Flexon is Kmart
