VSP Order entry new look???

Other office entering a job shows a completely new look than what we've used for years for lab orders.

Anyone here noticing the change?

VSP Online shows no heads-up change I can see.


VSP call back to other office says you can click back to the old look page. As I hear more I'll update.

They are really pushing the modern eclaim. They have been sending out all sorts of emails about it for months now. I think its only a matter of time until you can only use the modern and not the classic. The modern isnt nearly as good as the classic. Half the time I couldn't even get the frame to pull up and had to manually enter the info.

Ugh...The office manager reads the e mail and didn't catch this so thanks for the reply.

Our phone call to them affirmed that classic will be going away but this Luddite will switch to modern kicking and screaming all the way!

Any savvy poster see why this was necessary? I assume it makes VSP's work easier and more profitable but how?

They tried this last year too, it didn't work out so they scrapped it. I don't know why they are bringing it back! No one wants this.

The new eclaim system... It's a little buggy still. When using an AR like Crizal that has UV "built in" they insist on you now separating your UV charge from the AR charge. It will not let you erase the UV line in the claim and submit. It's so stupid.

I get it, it's different and different is bad. BOO different! I kinda like it though.

From a design and user experience standpoint the modern eClaim is really strong. One single page for everything, broken down into small sections with alternate navigation if you don't want to scroll. I know most people probably don't enter claims on a cell phone, but one page navigation like this is far more reasonable for mobile or tablet users.

I know the bugs are annoying, and thankfully they aren't forcing it yet, but I think it would have been smarter for them to force it.
