It's Christmas, well almost, and it's really not about Santa, and the reindeer and "getting" gifts! It's really about our choices, and God's. there is so much to be thankful for. When you help someone with their eyewear, do we help them because we're helping ourselves; as in if were us being helped, or do we just know there is some spiff we can add to our account. Are they us? We may not think so, but they are. So, have a merry christmas and think about how great it is to be loved by God. Al.

Yet, no matter how many times we try to get the message across........
Sitting at the breakfast table on Christmas morning with a house full of Born Again in-laws (yes, I am that Catholic guy the sister married...lol) when the one nephew who go to church on a regular basis starts singing "Happy Birthday, SANTA".
While the bickering insued, I drove down the road to the Kosher Market and got fresh bagels. Then I stopped at the gas station and left a tip for poor ol'Mohammed because he had to work on X-mas.
Christmas in DC....don't ya just love it.

Thanks for the reminder, Al... Merry Christmas!
<FONT COLOR=#0000FF>"But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father." So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir. Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not gods. But now that you know God--or rather are known by God--how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable principles? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?
