Burglarized - What to do next

Our store was broken in last night :-( and all the frames from two large showcases were stolen. We already filed a report with PD and our insurance company and got a case number. What is the next step? We purchased frames through sale reps and on their websites, and we don't do inventory. We'd like to know how people usually quantify the loss, and what documents are usually required or acceptable to the insurance company? Really appreciate any feedback on this.
Still feel so sad about what happened today... never thought it could happen.

You should be able to get a record of your purchases through your reps and then will need to compare it to your sales. But before you get too overwhelmed with the task, ask your insurance what they actually need. They may only require a rough estimate.

Also, depending on where you building is, scope out where there might be any cameras with security tapes that could help.

    Best of luck to you.
Have I told you today how much I hate poly?

Same thing happened to us. *%#@+. Insurance will want copies of invoices of the frames stolen. Insurance should reimburse cost, police will want retail $.

One other thing: burglars will sometimes hit the same place a couple months after the first incident because they know the place will have brand new stuff.
