Recommendations for Optometrist/Lab in SLC, UT Area

I have had someone request a referral, rather than going it the google way and rolling the dice, for a great Opt. & Lab in the SLC or Park City area of Utah.

This individual has a very high nearsighted script and lenses are important for them. They are looking for someone that knows 1.74 lenses well and do not use blanks for these high scripts. Also, they inquired on Tokai 1.76, are these available now?

    Thanks in advance.

We do -15's and -20's pretty regularly. As you know, it depends heavily on the pt's complete SRx, medical Hx, specific visual needs, realistic expectations, and the obvious proper frame selection. We're in the Sugar House neighborhood. They're not inexpensive either of course, as a rule. None of our labs offer a 1.76 that I've ever seen or heard of. 1.74 is it.

Also please clarify your "doesn't use blanks" comment??

What's the name of your shop?

Also, in regards to blanks, I was referencing not using stock molded blanks and does custom individualized lenses for high scripts. Such as the work Ice-Tech and Laramy K perform.

It appears in the past you were looking as a consumer. Are you employed in the industry now?

I'm not in the industry. I have a good friend with similar eye issues as myself who has moved to that area recently. Thus, I have reached out on here for some great advice rather than rolling the dice with google searches and endless visits.

From his previous comments seems like a great fit. Not sure what the locations name is though.
