    Lenmeter

The doctors here just bought a new lensmeter. They have got two old ones, American Optical model 12603 and a Bausch & Lomb type 21-65-70. They still function but the manager has told me to get rid of them. I figure they must be worth something to someone? Anyone have any idea of what they could be worth?

Your old instruments, both AO And B&L are better then any new optical lensmeter made today.
I know, I repair them. I also make the parts for them. AO, Reichert and B&L have not made or supported either instrument for years.
Add to your list of oxymorons. "New and Improved"

The AO 603 could be worth around $250 and the B&L in very good condition could be worth $500-$900. Put them on Optiboard in the Marketplace thread.

Is still have one that I purchased brand new in the mid 1960s and still use it once in awhile.

Also I still kept my first automatic Essilor MBA bevel edger from the 1960s which has a mechanical counter that shows the number 92,659 that should actually go into an optical Museum.
