Another beaut. Light painting?
It's very easy to over do it with light that's too bright! There's a movement here to use LED "LLL" low level lighting. It's designed to be color selectable to avoid the overly blue/white light of so many phones and headlamps, and is barely perceptible when used properly. The theory is to shoot a starfield as one normally would, and use the panels to create a very soft wash - akin to natural starlight, but just bright enough to help pull out detail from foreground features without overexposure. I haven't tried it myself (expensive I gather), and takes a deal of planning and set up to get right. But I've seen some stunning results from others!
When I used the flashlight, I would only turn it on for a couple of seconds then off again. Most of the pictures I took that night had the foreground lit by passing cars and trucks. That created a lot of different lighting effects that I couldn't have gotten if I stayed away from the highway.

Steve, I'm not kidding you...that's unbelievable! Amazing.
