Advanced abo certification

I will be renewing my abo in November 03'. I am interested in taking the steps to the abo advanced certification. I am confused on what I have to do. I know I am eligable after one renewal period. What do I do? I am in Pennsylvania.

Contact the ABO about the advanced information. I believe you now must complete the core course components and the ABO advanced track courses prior to taking the test. Go to www.abo-ncle.org and look at advanced certification requirements.

Hi Skirk,
I only have one piece of advice for you. Take this test VERY seriously. It is to the NOCE what the bar exam is to the kindergarten entrance test. I took it two years ago and was one of only three that passed it out of close to a hundred that took it. Maybe the pre-requisites that are now in place make it a little easier and I've heard they want to scale it back a bit due to the low passing rate.
