Optician needed for 4 MD Practice in Northern California
Busy ophthalmology practice is in search of an energetic optician to add to our optical team.
35 hours per week, benefits after 90 days of hire
Position Responsibilities:
Insurance billing, VSP and others
Dispensing glasses, frame adjustments/repair
Contact lens training
Requirements:
Must show great customer service and at all times possess a friendly demeanor
Be able to successfully work as a team with others
Have a willingness to learn and be self-motivated
Possess professional phone demeanor
Be comfortable dealing one on one with patients
Be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks
Have proficient computer skills and knowledge
Dependable and punctual
ABO and NCLE certification helpful but not required. Pay based on experience.
