It's the wild west all over again! YEE HAW! Giddyup cowboy!

    My initial reaction: *FACE PALM*

Then I huried up and did a bunch of yogic exercises to "strengthen" my weak old presbyopic eyes! I know if I just keep wishing hard enough, my glasses will one day be only a memory!

Magic lens said to increase human eye resolution three fold

    Hits all the notes....

-"My heroes have always been cowboys." (Country)
-"Closer to the holy grail." (Classic rock)
-"Perfect vision is a human right." (Maybe a rock/punk fusion???)

Sounds great. I'll take two...So will all those rezoom/restor/crystalens patients that heard the same damn tunes and are still searching for the holy grail for their human right of cowboy vision.

Anyone else help patients every week that paid for Lasik surgery yet still come in to buy glasses?

We probably see 2-3 per week.

I've actually never heard a LASIK patient say they regretted having it done. Even the ones that were botched. Multifocal IOLs? Most of the surgeons in my area try their best to talk patients out of them because they don't want to deal with the post surgical complaints.

I thought it interesting that this "doctor" stated that patents would be good candidates at 25 years old to undergo phacoemulsification of their otherwise perfect crystalline lenses, to be replaced with his little plastic wonder slug. What he is proposing - on the surface at least - is downright terrifying! To say nothing of horrifically misleading to the public.

What is reality but a concept unique to each of us? Can anything be classed as real when our perceptions differ greatly on so many things? Just because we see something a particular way does not make it so.

What if i told you, that the lens was also electrical in that it was powered by heat (unlimited energy) so that it could record, transmit, and store every single thing you have ever looked at(in 3x 20/20 vision detail) over the duration of your life WITHOUT your knowledge. There wouldn't be a document that you signed, person you've ever made love to, or even a private moment that wasn't observable by a third party company (or your governement) for the soul purpose of controlling the population (because you would have dirt on everyone and could easily discredit anyone without trying very hard) and researching ways to better keep the population under a comatose state of distraction from what really matters in the world so that you essentially continue to live, pay taxes, work and then die without giving the corporations/government a hard time. Do you still want a pair? Or would you like more information before you put something that's too good to be true in your friggen eyes.
