    Are Progressive Lens good choice

    Hi,
I would like you to help me with one of my patient.
He is 43 now and he asking me about first progressive lenses but he has some doubts.
    His rxs is:
    OD -4.00 Add -2,75
    OS -4.25 Add -2,75

As he said he is working mainly with computer for abouit 8 hours a day and he sees screen very well now (with -4.00 and -4.25), but has a problem with smart phone screen and when reading a book at home.
I have some doubts that he will complain that in progressive he will have to move his head down and up to see a screen. What do you think? Thanks.

With an add of 2.75 in any case, I would stay away from any progressive lens from any manufacturer.

Give him a good large segment Straight top, and he will even be able to read a newspaper in comfort.

    Prosemi,

To provide the best answer, we need to know if you are a general medical practitioner, an ophthalmologist, an optometrist MSc/Phd, or optician. Some medical history is also required due to the unusual nature of the subject's visual correction.

The gorts will close this thread if you're not a healthcare professional.
