    How to contact Luxottica?

Our office is interested in carrying Ray Ban sunglasses...I have sent a couple emails via their website, but have not heard anything back. Anyone have a Luxottica account and have a customer service phone number they would share please?

It is rep specific I have heard, but unless you have been grandfathered in they are going to want you to buy 20 or so opthalmic.

As much as I detest being strong armed by luxottica in this way - Rayban Opthalmics absolutely fly off my frame boards. It is unbelievable and the 2016 stuff is as well made as anything out there. We do especially well with the Light Ray lines.

They might be good but I'm sure you're exaggerating just a bit.

There is a lot out there much, much better quality than Ray Ban.

Maybe a bit, but since I let them back into my shop I have been impressed by the quality.

You all quit snibbling to the 800lb gorilla called LUX. You sound pathetic.

If anything THEY should be banging on OUR door to get in. After all, it ain't cheap to build, staff, pay tax's, turn on the power and insure a independants location. And you guys are begging them to hang their stuff on YOUR wall AFTER they make you BUY their stuff. And then THEY still get to call the shots?
WTH ever happened to CONSIGNMENT? Anyone know and understand the meaning of that word? Does anyone do it? Has anyone ever thought of doing it?
Be a cold day in hell before I ever let Luxottica back in MY store on THEIR terms. That's just BS!

The calling shots thing I get, my office, MY choices. The consignment thing is a huge error in judgement. If you know how to buy, buy. If you don't know how to buy, use consignment. About 8 months in, count your "free use" frames, and try to make some semblance of the last 4 statements, you loose. Stop paying for the "right" to return frames that don't sell, buy right first time at the lowest price, I bought it, I keep it. Stop paying for " free benefits ".

As to the raybans, Probably the most recognized name in the industry for frames and suns. Right for you? Depends on your business position, no service has been the norm for lux for years, as they feel you "need" them, you don't need any rep with that attitude. Each to decide what's best for them, you always have options.

You can love/hate whoever you want, I consider Luxottica, depending on your area, an absolute staple. As far as not being able to get ahold of them...that will vary from rep to rep....be persistent and remember they are on East Coast.

They also like to randomly fire their most attentive staff and push 12 lines on to one unhelpful individual. I love it every time we drop one of their lines. Just makes room for our super unique quality items
Have I told you today how much I hate poly?

Wellllll.....we put the product in after being told by the rep and her manager what our discounts would be....needless to say, we did not recieve the discounts (because of volume and not being in a buying group, even though they were told multiple times that we were not in one) and had to send the product all back. Was a huge mess and dissapointment!!!
