Need a little frame help please.

I have a gold filled drill rimless frame made in England named Aloha. I desperately need a pair of nosepads for it. The pad arms are similar to the old Rayban type but actually appears to have a small square hole in the center for a type of expandable tab. Any help is appreciated.

It may be a split pad that you need, I don't see them in the Hilco catalogue any longer. It is a pad somewhat like the rayban pad, but the 2 metal "prongs" are in the middle almost touching one another. You put the prongs through the hole and split the prongs apart and that's how they stay in place. They were called AO split pads.

I Have done 3-4 like this
use small B&L (just gave away my age)
rayban small crimp on nose pads, and bend the tynes OUT(in other words bend them the opposite way they are facing) instead of in
using two super thin needle nose plyers
i grind down my needlenoses to get an even finer point
    very good come4spex

That's definitely it. None to be found. I did find some pads from Nosepad King called bifurcated pads...they are similar. Going to try them. Thanks.
