Has anyone used opticalcredits.com for CECs?

1-2 hr. courses for $9.95 or $19.95. A few of the topics look promising.

I was curious if anyone has used this website before. It says they notify ABO on your behalf when you pass a course.

    Anyone familiar with the site?

I am not familar with the site. I would not spend that for an online course, unless I knew the writer, or the site owner. There are so many free ce's out there, that I wouldn't bother with the unknown!

Where are the free CEs? 2020mag charges $15 for theirs and other sites I've found charge $18.

Thanks! That site looks like there's some good info to be gleaned.

As a fellow beer drinker, I'm always ready to get a few rounds in...

Cindy, What was your project at work that motivated the research?

I wonder if there is a place that lists the web sites, the content, the price, and participant comments. You have created a great resource so far!

    Online Ce's

The NAO has online CE's at $10.00 per credit hour for members or free ones in their online newsletter. Check them out at http://www.nao.org

Free contact lens ce, courtesy of the contact lens spectrum. Good for both NCLE certified opticians and optometrists.

Ask the average American if he thinks ignorance and apathy are a problem in this country and he'll tell you he doesn't know and doesn't care. So will the average Optician.
