Is there a lab that does a polarized Serengeti driver progressive lens copy ( not glass ) in Ontario?
Thanks for your help.

I believe the KBCO CR39 polarized "specialty colors" lenses has a Ruby color that is essentially the old Serengeti Vermillion. I may be wrong on the exact name of the color. They are the specialty ones, CR39, cost more than most. Any backside Digital lens should be able to be able to be applied to the rear. I know I've done a suitable replica for someone using this lens its just been like 3 or 4 years.
Thanks Tallboy; I am gonna take my chances with a cooper Polar lens and hope she likes it.
How about doing these lenses yourselves in your location. Get uncoated CR39 and tint them yourselves. If you have no tinting unit, these days you can use Microtints that can be heated in the microwave oven in a minute or two and the finished tinted lenses cost you bare to nothing.
Thanks Chris; I do need them to be polarize. I have, in the past used some kind of 2 step tinting package to very good success. That was a long time ago.
I do understand your point. However looking at the politics of the other thread of Coastal.....Clearly, were Quebec OD`s lost out in the appellation court and online opticals now can sell openly into Quebec, which was fully controlled by ODs and Opticians forever.
Independent optical retailers should wise up and start again to sell basic products at acceptable prices the public is willing to pay.
Anything you can do in your own shop will be of a benefit to you and or your pricing.
We should realize that the on-line opticals want the conventional retail optical to go the way the Dinosaurs did.
