Looking for a large pair of eyeglasses to hang in my window. Maybe about 4 ft. wide. Any help?

Two choices.
1, Contact your local sign shop and have them design and build you a display frame for your window. Cost, probably upwards of $1000.00 depending on all the bells and whistles. Time: a month upward depending on all the bells and whistles.
2, Go to Staples and buy a large sheet of foam board. Draw whatever you want for a frame shape and have one of your children cut it out with one of those Exacto knife thingies. Paint it the color of your choice and maybe add some sparkles and hang the darn thing up in the window. Cost, about $10.00. Time about thirty minutes. No bells and whistles.
I made a pair out of 1/4 inch plywood (2 pieces) that I glued together with a thin metal sheet in the middle for durability. The final glasses were painted in a high sheen black and have since been used for window displays, photobooths, in-office decor and periodically to get attention at community events. All in, materials cost was $120.
If you have access to the necessary tools, it's pretty easy and the end result is impressive. I considered going the foam route, but if they're handled much (at all) they're pretty flimsy... The glasses I made have literally been used as a hoola hoop 😀
