    Lens Identification Marking Help

Hi, wondering if anyone can help here. I have a patient who loved her current progressives and hated the pair before that. Her current ones bear the following markings: temporal side has a circle and under it, the add power, followed by a W. It looks like a VT above it. On the nasal side, there is A3 under the circle. Can't figure the lens design / manufacturer out!! Anyone recognize it?

    Thanks so much!

With so many people having their own house brands, it is getting more and more difficult to identify lenses. When this happens to me and I cannot identify the lens, I usually just put them in the lenses that I would recommend to start with. So far we haven't had any problems and it's worked out well.

    Autograph III?
What is reality but a concept unique to each of us? Can anything be classed as real when our perceptions differ greatly on so many things? Just because we see something a particular way does not make it so.

Is the 3 slightly smaller than the A in the engraving? If so, it sounds like it might be the Autograph III

Thanks everyone, but sadly, it's not the Autograph 3. The "3" doesn't appear to be smaller, and also the dots for marking are actual circles, not the Shamir logo. I guess I'll just have to wing it!

The only other one that would be close in my book is the Hoya Amplitude with the 3 meaning it is a 1.60 High Index....other than that, I am stumped

The most important single factor in a successful PAL fitting is the proper positioning of the lenses before the customers pupils, not who made the lens.
