    John Lennon Frames

I have a patient who wants a 45 or 47 eye John Lennon shape silver metal frame in titanium or 14 K gold. Any ideas?

For starter's who do you have accounts with or are you committed to opening an account worth thousands and thousands for the sake of one frame.

I might have an antique one in 1/10th 12 K by either Shuron, AO, or B&L. Will look tomorrow when back at office. I'm just down the road from you. Walter

Welcome to OptiBoard. I do have several antique styles that would match what you want. One is by American Optical with saddle bridge and comfort cable temples and another smaller size but beautiful filigree engraved with metal nose pads and comfort cable temples. Both are new old stock. I'm near you in Lansdale, PA. Also Seiko makes the T0900 in titanium.

You could look into the John Varvatos line by REM Eyewear, they're pretty similar to John Lennon glasses, but much better in my opinion. They have the cable temples and the neat etchings on the frame.

I know the Varvatos frame you're thinking of. It's lovely.
