Where can I find a good wrap compensation program?
Where can I find a good wrap compensation program?
It's usually built into your surfacing software, If you have to have a program a phone app would be the cheapest route.
If online is ok use the following...

The only problem with opticampus program is that it does not calculate the base in prism needed for wrap compensations.
See formula below. This will help you understand the amount of prism needed.
Keep in mind these formulas are approximates only, they are used in thin lens situations and you will notice a difference from what you order from a lab.
Let us assume a 15 degree wrap with an 8 base lens about 4 mm thick in a material of 1.6
First convert 15 wrap to radians
This would be about 0.5 D BO for each eye.
Whatever happened to the rxcalculator by Daryl Meister. Not the opticampus one.
It was in a downloadable file. Here is a thread discussing it last time.
